More filmmaker madness! This guy is slightly less violence obsessed. I’d check out Last Life in the Universe and Invisible Waves.

Another great asian filmmaker of the second. I’d suggest Oldboy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance and Sympathy for Mr Vengeance.

Filmmaker of the minute. Lots of nice violence. Particularly like Audition, Ichi the Killer, and Izo.

Another director of the day. Recently released The Family Friend (Amico di famiglia, L’). Also worth checking out The Consequences of Love and One Man Up.

Another great director of the day. I’d suggest most of his films particularly Naked Lunch, Crash, Videodrome, Dead Ringers and Scanners. Below is a little picture of the man, probably pissed off at some photographer.

Is The Revolving Peanut’s Filmmaker of the Day. Whatever that means. It means I like his films. Mostly. Worth checking them out none the less. Films like A Hole in My Heart, Show Me Love, and most recently, Container. Lots of themes dealing with reality television, youth, celebrity, and sexuality. Something experimental I made.

A pretty interesting anime series. The new intro (below) is perhaps the best I’ve ever seen for an anime.

My favorite evil motion graphics group. Below is an aging Bombay Sapphire advert by them. One of the better names they have wrapped their sparkly magic around. There are also several films on their site here. Be sure to check out their “anthem.”
